In addition to members of the OCA Holy Synod and His Grace Bishop Mark of the Antiochian Diocese of Toledo and the Midwest, other local hierarchs present were: His Grace Bishop Demetrios of the Greek Archdiocese's Metropolis of Chicago, His Grace Bishop Daniel of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church in the USA, and His Grace Bishop Peter of Cleveland, Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia. Vladyka Job was buried behind the altar of his beloved first parish of St. John the Baptist in Black Lick, PA, where he had been planning to retire in 2011. Synergy's 15th annual Symposium on October 17 was a rousing success! With more than 120 in attendence, including many clergy, this will go down as one of our most popular symposia. Fr. Stanley Harakas and Fr. Dcn. Nicholas Belcher spoke on "The Future of Orthodoxy in America." Many thanks to St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church in Cicero for once again hosting us.
